2022-2023 Season Registration

05/25/2022, 10:15am MDT
The NCYH Hockey Directors welcome you to the 2022-2023 hockey season! Yes... it’s only May but we’re giving the necessary time to determine teams for the upcoming season. Registration is officially open today and we can’t encourage you enough to register soon!
You only have to pay the registration fee now – “Payment Plans” will start in Sep/Oct and the “Pay in Full” remaining balance charges on Oct 15.

1) All Pre-Season Skates, Evaluation/Tryout Dates AND Practice Days & Times for each league are still being scheduled. We will get these posted as soon as we can. Registration numbers will have a big impact on all scheduling.
2) USA Hockey has changed fees based on birth years. Please be sure to get your players 2022-2023 USAH number BEFORE starting registration- PLEASE BE SURE TO ENTER ALL OF THE NUMBERS AND LETTERS IN SEASON REGISTRATION

3) Season registration is a TWO step process, First you will fill out the Google Contract, at the end of the Google contract will be the link to the second step to be fully registered, Once you have submitted your deposit you are registered. If fail to do the payment portion your player is not considered registered. Please make sure to complete BOTH steps.

1) Jake Marto will oversee all CRHL teams. He is the main contact and will also be a resource for coaches by rotating attendance to practices throughout the week.
2) We continue to try to keep our CRHL teams to smaller numbers for better quality of ice. The sooner people register, the easier it will be for NCYH to declare an appropriate number of teams to the league mid-summer and keep team size smaller.

3)CRHL Teams at all levels will be equally drafted. NCYH Hockey Directors will be working with the Parent Coaches who are assisting in the Evaluations to ensure equally balanced teams. We encourage players to attend the pre-season skates and evaluation date to give the Directors and coaches more chances to see your player skate before the season is underway.

4) Remember if you are a first year Bantam, first year Midget, or 3rd year Midget you need to schedule your Baseline Testing at OCR as soon as possible but especially before 8/1/22.
NCYH will be fielding a “CRHL Checking Midget A” team that will fall under the CRHL umbrella. This team will be coached by a parent coach. NCYH will field one team for this division. This will give the players that are unable to make a high school roster (Fort Collins or RCS) a place to play with checking. All other divisions in CRHL Midget will be the same and will have no checking. This CRHL Checking Midget A team will be a try-out process team and the team will be picked by the hockey directors of NCYH.
All other Midget teams will go through the draft system, just like previous years. When registering please indicate if you would like to be part of the try-out process or not. If you choose not to tryout, the evaluations will be the same as previous years. All teams including the checking team will have the same amount of ice times as last season.

6) NCYH is hoping to field an all-girls team at every level If we're unable to field the teams your player will have a reserved spot at the appropriate age level.

1) Pre-Season skates and Try out dates for all CCYHL levels are still being scheduled. As soon as we have them scheduled, we will notify registered players.
2) Remember if you are a first year Bantam, first year Midget, or 3rd year Midget you need to schedule your Baseline Testing at OCR as soon as possible but especially before August
NCYH will have two options for Midget hockey for the 2022-2023 season.
