Northern Colorado Youth Hockey (NCYH) is a nonprofit youth hockey organization based in Fort Collins, Colorado. It primarily operates out of the Northern Colorado Ice Center (NoCo) and also uses Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC) for practices and games.
NCYH is part of Colorado’s main competitive youth hockey league (RMHF) under the state association (CAHA). It also has recreational teams that play in the Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL).
The program offers different team levels with varying schedules, travel, and practice frequency. In the 2025–2026 season, NCYH had 778 players, including:
- 3 CPHL Teams
- 11 RMHF Travel Teams
- 19 CRHL Recreational Teams
- 16 U8 Teams
In 2007, NCYH bought the Providence Ice Center with support from the Colorado Eagles and merged memberships. At that time, the organization changed its mascot from the Grizzlies to the Junior Eagles.
NCYH offers youth hockey programs for beginners and experience players alike from the ages of 4 years old to years old. Programs include:
Under 8 Program (U8) --
Early October to mid-March
- In-House or Recreational (Learn to Play)
- Birth Years 2018 or Younger*
- Under 8 "Travel"
-- Early November to March - Open to BLUE level U8 kids only
Colorado Recreational Hockey League (CRHL)
- In-House or Recreational League Play
- Birth Years 2008-2017*
Rocky Mountain Hockey Federation (RMHF)
- Non-Tier Travel ("AA" / "A" / "B" levels)
- Birth Years 2012-2017*
- Tier Travel ("AA" or nationally recognized levels)
