Refund Policies

Refund policies for each program are listed below. If you have any questions about these policies please contact the club treasurer.

RMHF/Travel Team Registration

NCYH Standard Refund Policy Participation in tryouts or evaluations constitutes a formal commitment to the NCYH program. By participating, players and families acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy. Once a player has been selected and placed on a team, no refunds will be issued for registration fees, tuition, team fees, or travel expenses, regardless of participation status for the remainder of the season. Acceptance of a roster position constitutes a full financial commitment for the season. Families are responsible for all season dues, tuition, team fees, and travel expenses. Exceptional Circumstances Refunds or prorated tuition may be considered only in the following circumstances and are subject to review and approval by NCYH Hockey: -A verified relocation outside the NCYH geographic area -A documented season‑ending injury If approved, tuition may be prorated based on the portion of the season completed. Deposits, capital funds, team fees, tournament fees, and travel expenses are non‑refundable. No player or financial release will be granted until all financial obligations have been paid in full, including any outstanding balances. Player Placement Player placement decisions are made exclusively by the Coaching Staff and NCYH Hockey Directors. No refunds will be issued for players who choose to leave because they did not make their preferred team or role. Deposits All deposits are non‑refundable and non‑transferable to another organization or sibling under all circumstances. Submission of a deposit confirms acceptance of this policy.

U8/Mite Registration

Adult League Lunch Drop-In

There are no refunds for daily drop in sessions.

Homeschool Drop in

There are no refunds for individual homeschool sessions.

NoCo Learn to Skate

You may register for class through weeks 1 and 2, however, we cannot prorate classes based on late registrations. Due to our extensive hockey scheduling, we cannot honor any request for make-up classes due to absence. If you need to cancel the session, $20 is non-refundable once the session has begun even if you have not participated. As required by facility policy, skaters without a helmet will be asked to leave the ice and will not receive credits or refunds. For excused cancellations prior to the start of a session: If a skater participates in any classes, an additional fee will be deducted for each class attendance. Any participant that is a 'no call', 'no show' will not be issued any credit or refund. Class placement based on skill level is assigned by LTS director. No refunds will be issued for placement discrepancy by parent/guardian. LTS staff has the right to move participants to lower/higher group based on visual assessment. Refunds or credits will not be issued based on class placement. Other than medical absences supported by a doctor’s note, no credits or refunds will be issued once 50% or more of the classes in a session have taken place. If there is a medical necessity, you may transfer a session that you have not yet participated into a future session. All refunds will be issued as a check to the paying party. Please allow up to 2-weeks for processing.
