U8 Game Schedule

🏒 NCYH Under 8 Hockey Game/Practice Schedule 🏒

All games are during the normal U8 session time your player attends.

Under 8 Levels and Session Times

Under 8 Hockey – Levels & Session Information

NCYH U8 hockey is divided into four levels. Each level has its team names, and all practices and games are held during your normal session times.

Blue Level

Ice Sessions:

  • Tuesday: 5:15 – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:45 – 8:30 AM

Yellow Level

Ice Sessions:

  • Tuesday: 4:30 – 5:15 PM
  • Saturday: 8:30 – 9:15 AM

Red High-Level Teams

Ice Sessions:

  • Thursday: 5:15 – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:15 – 10:00 AM

Red Low-Level Teams

Ice Sessions:

  • Thursday: 4:30 – 5:15 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 – 10:45 AM

Schedule Notes

  • U8 hockey generally follows a 2-1 schedule: 2 practice sessions followed by 1 game.
  • Occasionally, schedules may vary depending on ice availability or events.

🏒 BLUE LINE BUDDY EVENT – U8

Is your player ready to skate during the pre-game warm-up and stand on the ice for the National Anthem at a Colorado Eagles game?

Here are the details for this exciting NCYH tradition!

📅 Event Details

  • Each U8 group will receive an email from the NCYH Office with their assigned game date, event details, and sign-up link.
  • Teams have been pre-assigned by NCYH — these dates will not be changed.

🎟️ Tickets

  • Includes 2 complimentary tickets — one for the U8 player and one for an accompanying parent (players need their own ticket).
  • Additional tickets: $27 each.

🕕 Schedule

  • 6:15 PM – Arrive at Blue Arena fully dressed (except skates, helmet, gloves). Check in with a Colorado Eagles representative and proceed to the lower lobby.
  • 6:30 PM – Players are escorted to the Zamboni entrance. One parent per player may assist with final gear setup.
  • 6:50 PM – Meet a few Eagles players, get autographs, and take a group photo! Afterward, parents should head to their seats or the Voodoo Ranger Lounge. (A maximum of two coaches may remain with the skaters.)
  • ≈7:00 PM – Players skate a lap with the Flight Crew, form the player tunnel, and line up on the blue line for the National Anthem.
  • ≈7:10 PM – After the anthem, parents return to assist with gear removal. Players and parents will be escorted back to the front lobby where gear can be stored during the game.
  • End of Game – Retrieve gear bags before leaving the Blue Arena.

  • Blue Arena now operates under a pay-to-park system.
  • Parking: $10
