Returning Player Registration Information

Who Qualifies as a Returning Player?

• A returning player is someone who played at during the immediate prior season.
• If your player did not play with NCYH last season, please use the New Player Registration link instead.
• Registrations submitted through the incorrect link cannot be accepted.

Important Registration Information

• Each age division has a maximum roster capacity.
• Registration will close once an age group reaches its limit.
• Returning players receive a 2-week priority registration window, but spots are not guaranteed.
• Once an age group is full, no additional registrations can be accepted.
• Families are encouraged to register early to improve their chances of securing a spot.

What You’ll Need Before Registering

Please have the following ready:

• Online payment method:
• Visa
• MasterCard
• ACH checking account
• Parent and player contact information
• NEW this year: Player birth certificate required upload - PDF or Picture only
• New USA Hockey confirmation number

Payment & Fee Information

• A registration deposit is required.
• Deposits are:
• Non-refundable
• Non-transferable to another player, sibling, or program
• Players trying out for a AA team will pay an additional tryout fee during registration.
• AA tryout fees are also non-refundable and non-transferable.
• AA additional fees for U12 and U14 only of $116 will apply if your player makes AA team, the additional fees will be sent as a separate offer after team placement.
• Payment plans are available for families.

Refund Policy

• Refunds will not be issued if a player chooses to leave because they did not make their preferred team.

Family Commitment

• Once a player is placed on a team, families are responsible for all season fees.
• Families are also expected to volunteer and support their player’s team throughout the season

PAYMENT OPTIONS

• Pay in Full – Full tuition processed on the day of registration
• Payment Plan U12 and U14 – Balance divided into four (4) equal payments on:
• September 15th
• October 15th
• November 15th
• December 15th

• Payment Plan U10 – Balance divided into four (4) equal payments on:
• October 15th
• November 15th
• December 15th
• January 15th

SIBLING DISCOUNT

Discounts apply to younger siblings only and are issued no earlier than November:

• $200 – RMHF/Travel
• $90 – CRHL/Rec
• $40 – Under 8

If your player is placed on a AA team, the corresponding higher fee will be sent in an offer letter.

NCYH is proud to partner with FCPHA to help grow hockey in Northern Colorado by offering full and partial tuition scholarships to eligible players.

Since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014, FCPHA has supported the local hockey community through fundraising events and player assistance programs. In 2024, FCPHA made youth hockey its primary charitable focus.

Families experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to apply for tuition assistance for both new and returning players.

All RMHF/Travel players (10U–14U) are required to purchase:

• Home Jersey
• Away Jersey
• Home Socks
• Away Socks
• Breezer Covers (Shells)
• Warm-up Hoodie
• Pants

🔹 Payment due at time of order – no exceptions

• Returning Player (Need bigger sizes of Jerseys/Shells/Socks/Warm-ups)- Your # is reserved, register for your season and go to The Stick Rack to order your new item(s).
• Players moving up from Rec - Register for your season and go into The Stick Rack to order your package. 
• Please bring your shoulder pads and breezers to size accordingly.
• Pricing goes up July 1st due to expedited shipping needs.

Key Dates:

• Gear can be ordered once your player is registered for the season.
• June 30th- Deadline for lowest pricing
• Last day to order is 7/24/2026. Jerseys will be delivered two weeks later.
